I have banned Eurovision from the house. (Olympics and Jubilee will probably be outlawed too.) Far too many opportunities for hubris.

You're right - I should have known better. I appreciate that things get lost in translation but how could anyone think that runways of your soul - lit or unlit - ever be a good image...
